Barcelona is the perfect destination for a quick get-away from Paris.  With warmer weather and plenty of things to see and do, Barcelona offers something for everyone.  Take a stroll through my favourite spot in the city, Gaudi’s famous Park Guell or take some time out to enjoy tapas and sangria on a terrace near La Rambla.  Either way, Barcelona feels a world away from the daily grind the sunshine can’t hurt!

Visit the seaside town of Porto in Portugal this March and get away from the grey skies of Paris.  One of Portugal’s largest cities, behind Lisbon, Porto offers visitors a host of options for things to do, including tasting the world famous port wine which got its name from the area in which it’s produced.  March is a good time to visit as the temperatures are quite warm, but not stifling, and you’ll beat the rush of the high tourism a bit later in the season.
