Today’s snapshot comes to us from Azerbaijan in western Asia. The Government House pictured below is located in the capital and largest city in the country, Baku. The economical, cultural and international centre of Azerbaijan, Baku is often a destination for those visiting the country and is home to gorgeous architecture and also a booming night life.
Sunday Snapshot – Laos
What a magical shot from the Vang Vieng area of Laos! Though it’s a tourist mecca, the area is truly beautiful and worth a visit. Due to the sheer number of backpackers and travellers that pass through, there is no shortage of guest houses, hostels and bars in the area.

There is such beautiful simplicity in today’s snapshot from Nikko, Japan. Meaning literally “sunshine,” Nikko is a vibrant community in central Japan and home to stunning natural features including hot springs and mountains.
