Travelfusion is seeking exceptional candiate to join our web site development team:

Drive the UI of a popular web application as it gets an extreme makeover

Utilize the latest technologies to create compelling functionality

Make your left and right brains both earn their keep

Does this sound like you? Awesome user interfaces make you hot and sweaty. You can discuss at length what makes GMail (and other web apps) different. Poor usability dives you nuts. You know what RIA means, even if you think it’s a redundant term. You know what GWT, AJAX, Flex, YUI, JQuery and Prototype are, even if you haven’t used them.

Whilst you may be coder OR a designer, you really want to do both and are happy to work with both. You think apps should be great looking and pixel perfect, but not at the cost of being slow and hard to use.

Who we are looking for:

Key Attributes

Passion for usability

Initiative and the ability to work independently

Comprehensive knowledge of web technologies (css, html, http, etc)

End-to-end capabilities (concept, design, code)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Javascript / AJAX / DOM manipulation

Java / JSP

Ruby/Python/Perl/PHP a bonus

You don’t have to be a hard core coder, but you do need some background and a desire to work with code. We will be flexible for the right person, young/old engineer/designer it doesn’t matter if you can convince us you have the vision.

Salary: competitive + Benefits

Location: London (N1), UK

Applications: for immediate consideration, please contact: hr@travelfusion.com (with an attached resume and detailed cover letter on why you are the suitable for the job – having read the criteria carefully!)
