Travelfusion's Social Media Officer, I manage all of our online marketing and presence on Twitter, Facebook, our blog and more. I love my job!
As we’ve posted previously, one of our favourite things to do here at Travelfusion is search for great deals and pass them on to our friends and fans. To do this, we’ve created a handful of city-specific Twitter accounts to share these deals daily with our followers on Twitter but I wanted to share some of my hand-picked deals for the end of the week here on the blog, from our top departure cities in Europe.
Paris to Porto from only £11 in March – (via @FlyFromParis)

Visit the seaside town of Porto in Portugal this March and get away from the grey skies of Paris. One of Portugal’s largest cities, behind Lisbon, Porto offers visitors a host of options for things to do, including tasting the world famous port wine which got its name from the area in which it’s produced. March is a good time to visit as the temperatures are quite warm, but not stifling, and you’ll beat the rush of the high tourism a bit later in the season.
London to Las Palmas from only £30 in March (via @FlyFromLondon)

Head south to the gorgeous Canary Islands for a city break in Las Palmas. The largest city of the European Union outside of Europe, Las Palmas has a subtropical climate and sunshine nearly all year round. If you tire of the beach and sunshine, there are plenty of cultural things to do around town, including some fantastic museums and cultural events.
Frankfurst to Oslo from only £4 in March (via @FlyFromFRA)

Do you love the snow and cold weather? Looking for a Scandinavian city break? Look no further than Oslo, and with fares as low as £4, this is a city break that will definitely be friendly on the wallet. While Oslo can be an expensive city to visit, saving so much money on your flight will help stretch your budget so you can enjoy more that Oslo has to offer. The scientific, business, governmental and cultural capital of Norway, Oslo is extremely cosmopolitan and offers visitors plenty to do, even in wintertime.
Madrid to Milan from only £4 in March (via @FlyFromMadrid)

Another fantastic deal allows you to have an urban adventure in Milan with flights only £4! A world culture, design and fashion capital, Milan is a fantastic place for people-watching, museums and architecture and of course Italian food. Race around town to check out the Piazza del Duomo, take some time to explore the fourth-largest church on earth, the Milan Cathedral or take it easy in a café, sipping on potent Italian espresso and sampling local cuisine.
Milan to Stockholm from only £12 in March (via @FlyFromMilan)

Another travel option for those who like a bit of winter weather, Stockholm is increasingly accessible with such low fares. Visit the area’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Royal Palace Drottningholm or the Skogskyrkogården for some local culture, or some of the famous museums, including the Moderna Museet that includes works by Salvador Dalí. Be sure to bundle up as Stockholm’s winters are notoriously cold, but offer the perfect opportunity to snuggle up to your travelling partner and explore the cultural marvels in this beautiful city.
No matter where you decide to travel, enjoy our low fares and cheap airline tickets. Happy travels!
