50 Things to See and Do in Washington, D.C. – Journeywoman

If I had to pick my top three cities in the world (so far) Washington D.C. would be at the top of the list. There’s something about the history, the political excitement, landmarks and variety of things to do in the city that keeps me wanting to go back again and again. Journeywoman has published a fantastic list of things to do in Washington D.C. and includes both the typical suggestions as well as some ideas for some “off the beaten path” fun! She’s also included some great recommendations of where to eat, including mentions of the famous Ben’s Chili Bowl and neighbourhood favourite Five Guys Burgers. Springtime is one of the most lovely times in Washington D.C., so hop on a return flight from London to D.C. for as little as £263.
The Best Way to Travel in Tuscany – The Perrin Post

Travel blogger Wendy Perrin shares her tips and ideas of things to do and see in the gorgeous Tuscany region of Italy. She suggests exploring the region by car, as it’s the best way to enjoy and appreciate the expansive beautiful countryside between Tuscan cities and villages. I’ve always wanted to see these hidden corners and Tuscan roads for myself, take in the landscapes and visit the region’s wineries. Fly into Florence as a “home base” and rent a car from there to explore Tuscany properly. Return flights to Florence from London are starting at only £52 – so now is a good time to go!
