Hi all, I am Yigang. I joined Travelfusion in September 2006 after graduating from King’s College London with a masters degree in Computer Science. During the first year, I worked as a Java developer in our flights team and was also sometimes involved in pre-packaged.
In September 2007, I relocated to Shanghai, China, my mother country, to set up the Travelfusion Shanghai office. In the past two years, we have been building a very great team here, including all supplier template teams, QA team, core code team, affiliate team, and sales and marketing team for the Asia Pacific region. As the supplier teams have stabilized, our support for the UK office has expanded. Our next goals are building a fantastic Chinese meta-search website, launching it, achieving certain targets, acquiring more Asian search and booking suppliers, and selling our unique booking engine to customers in Asia. We are on it.
I love playing basketball in my spare time, usually two hours each weekend. Travelling and driving are other hobbies I would like to do, but have rare chances to as my son, Migo, is growing up and taking most of my spare time!
