Hi, I’m Mark. I’m a 27-yr-old a project coordinator and web dork. I have lived in London for the past 4 years.
Having grown up immersed in information, I suppose I’m your typical Generation Y’er. I’ve amassed two degrees and a patchwork of experience, yet I always seem to find myself coming back to new media. I value well transmitted, well visualized information, and remain fascinated by the way social production is transforming culture and society.
I joined Travelfusion in late 2006 and, my, how both the company and my role have grown. As we nearly tripled in size, my responsibilities expanded to include project management, design strategy, development strategy, content management, ideation, people management, and client relations.
In my free time I cycle, play guitar, and make websites for friends. I helped start World Film Collective, a UK registered charity that teaches film-making to deprived youth. WFC operate in five countries (so far!) and use the web to keep the kids engaged with each other’s media.
I eat breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. Usually it’s food.
